From 1997 to 2002, (1) represented the co-developer of the 200,000 SF Brentwood Square in Brentwood, Missouri, Zelman Retail Partners of Los Angeles, California, on the redevelopment of this strategically-located property into THE premier lifestyle center in St. Louis, (2) co-brokered a 16-acre, 73-parcel assemblage required for the redevelopment, (3) was the tenant rep broker for two of the most significant anchor tenants for the project, Whole Foods Market and REI, and (4) co-leased Brentwood Square with Pace Properties Incorporated, the co-developer of the project. Tenants include Whole Foods Market, REI, Nordstrom Rack, Pier 1 Imports, Michael’s, Container Store, FedEx Office, AT&T Wireless and St. Louis Bread Co.
From 1997 to 2000, (1) represented Zelman Retail Partners in its role as the original developer of the 288,000 SF Olde Towne Plaza in Ballwin, Missouri, a dominant community center on Manchester Road, (2) brokered the Lowe’s long-term ground lease, and (3) co-brokered a 32-acre, 66-parcel land assemblage required for the redevelopment. Anchors include Lowe’s, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Stein Mart and Big Lots.
In 2011, teamed with CBRE’s National Retail Investment Group in Chicago to successfully sell two major grocery-anchored community centers in St. Louis. In April 2011, Hampton Village, owned since the 1960’s by the Feil Organization, was sold to The Desco Group, and in May 2011, Dierbergs Heritage Place, previously owned by RREEF was sold to Ramco-Gershenson Properties, a private REIT. Together, these two sale transactions totaled over $58 million in consideration.
